If you’ve ever bought a preset pack boasting over 100 different filters, you’ve probably experienced the frustration of realising almost none of them actually suit your photos straight out of the box. The truth is, there is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all" preset. Even the best presets require tweaking.
So, instead of overwhelming you with dozens of filters you'll never use, I’ve curated just two foundational presets that I use as the base for almost all of my work. By starting with a strong foundation and making minor adjustments, you can achieve a beautifully cohesive look across your entire feed.

01 | Places Preset: Designed for scenic environments, travel, street, and architectural photography. This preset leans into warmer, beautifully saturated tones to bring environments to life.
02 | People Preset: Tailored specifically for portraits. This preset pulls back on the warm, yellow tones (which can often make skin look artificial) to provide a clean, flattering, and natural base for photographing people. But still keeping the same tones and colours to match your “Places” preset.
The "People & Places" In-Depth Guide: This is the core of the package. I don't just want to give you presets; I want to teach you how to use them. This guide includes full installation instructions, general editing tips, and a walkthrough of the essential settings you need to adjust to make these presets work for any photo. My goal is to help you enhance your editing skills so you eventually won't need to rely on presets at all!

Important Details & Compatibility:
Software: Compatible with Lightroom Classic, Lightroom Desktop (Creative Cloud), and Lightroom Mobile. (Note: These were designed for the premium/paid versions. If using the free mobile app, please ensure your version supports DNG preset installation).
Camera Files: These presets were built and optimised using Fujifilm RAW files. While you can absolutely use them on other camera brands or JPEG files, they will require a bit more adjusting to achieve the intended aesthetic. For the best possible results, Fujifilm RAW files are recommended.
Exposure: I purposely leave the Exposure setting undefined in these presets. Lighting varies wildly from shot to shot, so this is the one slider you will always need to dial in yourself first!
